The SunTouch TapeMat Electric Under Floor Heating Kit contains everything needed for a quick and economical installation of a radiant heat flooring system. TapeMat is an open-weave floor heating mat that can be easily installed beneath tile, stone, or laminate flooring in homes and commercial buildings to bring comfort and a touch of luxury to your space. The mat installs in thin-set or self-leveling mortar. This kit includes a 120 VAC floor heating mat that measures 2 feet wide x 22.5 feet long and covers a 45 square foot area. The orange mesh can be cut with scissors and flipped to cover and fit your layout. The blue wire can be pulled out and run around obstructions and awkward spaces. Please note the blue wire should never be cut. This kit also includes a SunStat Command programmable touchscreen thermostat, LoudMouth installation monitor, double-sided tape, and an installation manual.

SunTouch’s open-weave mesh TapeMat can be installed in one day. There’s no need to wait for mortar to cure overnight before laying tile. You can achieve warm floors in four easy steps. Simply unroll and attach your mat(s) to the subfloor using the double-sided tape, secure the floor sensor (comes with all SunTouch thermostats), apply thin-set mortar, and install your flooring.

SunTouch WarmWire

SunTouch WarmWire is a series resistance heating cable assembly for installation over plywood, backer board, or a concrete slab (according to ANSI or TCNA guidelines), and then embedded in 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) or greater self-leveling or polymer-modified thin-set mortar. They provide underfloor heat in bathrooms, kitchens, entryways, and other areas and are an affordable alternative to radiant heated mats. Approved for installation in shower applications where permitted.
